fanatics odds boost disappeared from bet slip when i changed stake

Was looking to use the latest odds boost for tonight, dropped it in the bet slip, went to adjust my stake a bit and suddenly the boost just vanished. Tried clearing everything and re-adding it but now the boosted odds don’t show up anywhere. Pretty sure I wasn’t over any limit but maybe there’s some fine print I missed. I got burned once before by missing a promo by a minute so I try to be careful. Anybody else have this happen or know what the trick is to keep the boost active?

Yep, had that garbage happen lol. Blunt truth: if the underlying line twitches, even a tiny price change, the boost can fail its little re-check and poof... I always lock the boosted bet first and quit fiddling, these books build promos like bent forks lmao

Yep, that little vanishing act usually means the market repriced for half a second and the boost detached. I’ve had it happen most on player props when there’s even a whiff of lineup or weather movement, and changing the stake forces the slip to refresh. That’s the part they never say plainly. If it comes back with some silly max like two bucks, that’s not a glitch, that’s the whole joke. Soooo when a book makes a promo that fragile, i take it as a correct read on how much they wanted to honor it in the first place.

Nah, not always a reprice. I’ve had Fanatics nuke a boost on a dead market at 3am after one edit, same as those slot promos that vanish then reappear on refresh, just sloppy promo plumbing, plain as day.

yeah i’ve had that junk, changed stake by like two bucks and the boost ghosted. same kind of flimsy promo behavior as bet365 roulette rounds lagging out, i stopped trusting the slip at all

Sometimes the boost is only reserved for a short time after you activate it. If you spend too long editing the bet slip, it can disappear and require you to start over.

Blackjack, same.

Stake edits definitely retrigger the sportsbook check, i've seen a +300 slot-style boost die after like 20 seconds, same slip

Two bucks is usually the cutoff nonsense, not your stake change. Books treat a promo line and the regular line like different bets.

Yesss, same junk as a blackjack $25 max boost
