Duelbits loss limits real?

Saw some folks say they hit their loss limit and couldn’t keep playing, but I honestly don’t know if those caps are hard-stuck or just there to look responsible. Like, I’ve set limits on a couple crypto sites before and sometimes I still get popups telling me to chill out, but the option to keep betting is just one click away. Not sure how strict this particular site is, and I haven’t tested pushing past the set limit since I’m careful after getting burned once or twice.

Anyone here ever tried actually running up to their loss limit and seeing what happens? Interested in stories if you got locked out, or if the thing just nags you and lets you keep going. I feel like it’s more about the warning than actually stopping you, but curious what the real experience is for other folks.

I've only used deposit limits before, but those were definitely enforced. I couldn't add more funds until the reset period ended.

Blackjack tables hard-stop me faster than popups ever did, so no, not all limits are fake.
