Speed baccarat worth it?

Tried speed baccarat a few times now and I get that it keeps the action coming way faster, but I'm honestly not sure if that helps or hurts in the long run. It seems like you can run through your bankroll way quicker compared to normal baccarat, almost before you realize it’s happening. On the flip side, I do see how it could help with a chasing strategy, but that doesn’t really feel like the healthiest approach either.

Coming from blackjack I’m always thinking about how pace messes with decision making. When I move furniture too quickly I always regret it, same goes for fast hands at the table. Anyone here actually find speed baccarat better for the session or is it just a quick way to burn out?

Coming from blackjack is the tell, live dealer speed feels worse.

Nah, the blackjack bit is kinda beside it lol, speed bac gets worse when they strip out the squeeze and turn it into button-mashing. That’s the whole game’s little ritual gone. Same reason rapid-fire live sports betting feels grim to me, more clicks not more edge, just sooo easy to overbet without noticing

I enjoy speed baccarat, but I definitely lower my stakes because the faster pace makes it easy to spend more than I planned.
