Baccarat shoe reset?

So, here’s something I’m genuinely curious about with live dealer baccarat. When a shoe gets interrupted - like, if the dealer suddenly swaps out the whole setup because of a camera glitch or a tech hiccup - do you guys treat the new shoe as a fresh one, or do you just keep betting like nothing happened? I’ve been working with blackjack shoe tracking long enough to know a reset in the middle throws off any patterns, but not sure if it matters as much for baccarat given how people talk about trends there.

I’m not big on roadmaps or anything but sometimes it seems like certain players base their whole session around what happened earlier in the shoe. Feels like all that would be out the window if they do a sudden reset. Trying to make a list of situations to ignore or pay attention to when live streaming games, especially with crypto tables where the pace feels a bit more wild west than what I’m used to in regular casinos. Curious what’s everyone’s structured take on the impact of resets like this.

I’d mark it as a fresh shoe and move on, no drama. Not because baccarat has some sacred reset rule, but because half the “trend” crowd is staring at roadmaps like they’re weather reports. In online casinos especially, once the setup changes, your session notes before that are basically clutter. Dealer says new shoe, I treat it like a clean page. If you keep betting like the old run still means something, youre just dragging dead info around.

Yeah if they swap the shoe i treat it as dead, fresh start, obviously. I used to keep riding the old baccarat "flow" on crypto tables, dumb move lol, camera glitch and i'm back to square one in the game lobby

The second the bead road/history panel hiccups on online casinos i stop trusting any of that crap, that's the part people get married to for no reason. Had a live baccarat speed table freeze then come back with the minimum bet changed too, patience compounds over time and i just sit on my hands...

If it comes back weird on table limits or pace, im gone. Same as poker when a table breaks, I rack up and find another one, because its not the same game just cause the felt looks the same.

Gonna push back a bit on the “what happened earlier” part. Baccarat isn’t slots with some sticky state hanging around. If the multi-camera view breaks and there’s no clean bet history, i bin the narrative and just price the next hand.
