anyone get locked out of their online casino account due to suspicious activity

Had a weird one this week - tried to log in and got slapped with “account suspended due to suspicious activity.” Was only playing poker and some roulette, nothing wild or out of the ordinary. No big bonus chasing, no rapid-fire bets, just standard stuff I do after work. Customer service is giving me the runaround and saying it needs “further investigation.” Never had issues before.

Is this a common thing or am I missing something obvious here? How long did it take to sort out for you guys?

This kind of lockout is way more common lately, especially if the site’s security algo glitches on something random like switching devices or logging in on hotel WiFi. Slots get fewer false flags than table games, but honestly, it shouldn’t happen if you’re playing clean. If they can’t give you a straight answer within a couple days, that’s a red flag for how they treat legit players.

one thing i’d watch for is if you did any deposits or withdrawals in amounts just under $2k, since some sites auto-flag that as a risk pattern even for regular poker play. usually takes them about a week to sort, but with sketchier casinos it can drag out. nothing wrong with sticking to spots that don’t feel like a grind just to get your own money back.
