Same slot, different RTP depending on the casino, why does nobody talk about this?

i only noticed this properly now because i was about to clear a bonus on one site with a slot i know, then i checked the info and the rtp was lower than on another casino for the exact same game

not talking about volatility or different stake limits, i mean the listed rtp was different

one had it at 96.1 and the other was 94 something, same slot name, same provider

how much does that change things in real play if you're putting a few hundred through it for wagering? 2% doesnt sound huge till you do it over and over

and do you all check this before you play or just assume the slot is the slot everywhere?

what gets me is nobody talks about it like its normal that the casino can just pick the worse version!

i've got money sitting there now and i cant decide if i should still use that game for rollover or switch, but then i'm guessing on variance instead of just taking the better rtp one

Use the 96.1% one for rollover. On $400 wagered, that 2.1-point gap is $8.40 expected return. I found a lower setting mid-bonus once. Variance can swamp it.

Variance swamps the session, not the math. Still gone.

Wish I'd caught that eight myself. Never checked a rollover in my LIFE.

Take the 96.1 one, same contribution so no reason not to. Burned £280 through the worse version once because i didn't bother checking, that's 2% of the turnover gone extra. Look at the info screen now, never assume
