best poker for grinding against predictable opponents

Looking for some feedback on which poker variant you all grind when the table is full of the “standard move” type players. My usual setup is either live dealer cash games or small-stakes tournaments, and lately, the predictability is almost mechanical. You know the type - C-bet robots, auto-fold to aggression, never balance their ranges. Sometimes it feels like I’m playing against flowcharts.

I tend to default to NLHE since it’s what’s always running, but sometimes I wonder if other games - maybe PLO or even some of the mixed limit ones - let you exploit patterns better. I make my lists, track stats, but end up going back to what’s familiar even when I suspect there’s softer money elsewhere.

Anyone shifted their grind to a different format just because the player pool was too by-the-numbers? What worked?

Moving to live dealer PLO let me pick off predictable types who can’t handle real-time pressure postflop. Playing slower helps spot when their line is all stats and no real thought. Patience in live formats makes patterns stand out way clearer.

I switched to Courchevel hi-lo when NLHE got too robotic. Split pots and wild starting hands really punish autopilot lines.
