best poker if you want to play while watching something

So I’ve been on a bit of a streak lately jumping between tables while also trying to catch up on my shows. Thing is, multi-tabling gets wild fast when you’re not totally focused and I end up misclicking or timing out more than I’d like to admit. Speed poker is basically a no-go if you want to look up and still know what’s going on in either the game or the TV.

I usually stick with low stakes cash tables or those slow-paced sit & go tourneys that drag on enough for me to not feel like I need to babysit every hand. MTTs are pure chaos for me if I’m half-watching some series - I just end up folding kings or going all-in with air. Some folks swear by play money, but I just get bored way too quick and I actually want some risk, just not enough to sweat buckets.

Anyway, what style do you guys end up picking for those TV nights where you still want to keep a decent bankroll without nuking your focus?

"babysit every hand" lol yeah that's exactly why speed poker is trash if the game's on, misclick city lately lmao

Yeah, full ring cash, one table, boring on purpose. 6-max makes you defend junk and click back from under the gun half asleep, that’s where I punt when the show's on, short deck is even worse, too swingy for that shit

Low stakes cash games are my go-to. You can fold a bunch of hands without feeling like you're missing out while you pay attention to whatever you're watching.

The bleed isn’t from “missing out”, it’s the dead money, blinds, little autopilot calls, that’s what gets you when the show gets good. Half the time if I’m that checked out I’d rather just play roulette, at least the dumb part is honest.
