bad beat jackpot question

Wondering if anyone’s seen a bad beat jackpot hit in a live room lately. Last night at my local spot the table started arguing over what actually qualifies for the BBJ - somebody mentioned that a straight flush losing to a higher straight flush doesn’t count if the kicker’s not in play or something like that. Seemed like half the people had different rules memorized, depending on the casino or site.

I get that every place has their own twist, but I’m mostly playing for the grind, so I don’t put much weight on promos. Still, I’d rather know exactly what situations are jackpot-eligible, instead of just guessing and getting tilted when it gets denied. Does your room have clear rules or is it as vague as mine?

"playing for the grind" in a BBJ thread is always funny. Same energy as online casinos calling a push a feature.

nah, the dumber thing is acting like bbj promos are fake just bc players can't read lol. every live room i've played had the hand chart posted, the mess starts when dudes invent rules mid-hand. promo drop still comes out either way, so yeah i wanna know the exact qualifier lmao

Yeah mine was vague as hell too. Bbj promos are just tiny fine print traps with chips on top unless the room posts the exact hand chart.

most rooms post bbj rules clear as day. crypto casinos are worse, and half the table still talks nonsense on tilt
