wpt global froze during heads up sit n go and blinded me out for 3 hands
so this was weird, i was in a heads up sit n go, things were going okay, then all of a sudden everything froze up on my end. no cards, no buttons, nada. by the time it came back, i’d been auto-folded three times and lost a pretty big chunk of my stack. my wifi looked fine, netflix was still running smooth on the other screen. can they just blind you out like that if it’s their site glitching and not your connection? i messaged support, but all i got was the generic “sorry, please try refreshing” stuff.
anyone here had something like this happen during a tourney or sng? did you get anything back, or is it just tough luck and move on?

Yeah that generic “refresh” reply is basically them telling you tough luck lol. I’ve had the same kind of freeze in a heads up spot, client comes back and your stack’s just gone, real real hard to care what support says after that lmao
Heads up freezes are the worst, support acts like auto-folding you to dust is normal. Never got a dime back for that, interesting…

Losing one pot on a freeze is almost cleaner tbh, three dead hands heads up is this slow stupid bleed where you can feel the stack getting shaved and can’t even click back. I had one where it locked right when I was basically under the gun in a hyper, came back and I’d been folded into dust, support hit me with the same paste-eating “refresh” line. Maybe it WAS my end, who knows, I open like three connection checks now because I trust nothing, but if Netflix runs and only poker dies, yeah I’m not buying their little shrug either. Tough luck is basically the policy and that’s the part that stings
