888poker spin promo paid casino bonus instead of poker ticket.

So I finished the poker spin promo last night, expecting one of those random poker ticket drops they advertise. Instead, the thing paid out a casino bonus. Not sure if this is a mistake or just some sneaky terms I missed. I checked my email and promos, and nowhere does it say the prize might be a casino bonus. I usually stick to roulette or the odd slot, so I actually don't even care much, but a promo should be clear about what you get.

Anyone else have this happen, or is it just me?

Seen this kind of nonsense before. When a poker promo suddenly spits out casino credit, half the time it’s not “luck,” it’s the promo system tagging you to the casino side because these rooms keep one grubby back end for everything. I’ve had support act like I was asking for a maritime salvage permit over ten lousy dollars. Meanwhile other people seem to get the clean ticket drop and move on, which yes, irritates me more than it should!!! Did the bonus land in your casino wallet with an expiry timer on it, or show in the poker promos tab? That detail usually tells you whether it was a screwup or the usual buried nonsense.

If it hit the casino wallet with a timer on it then yeah, i’d already treat it like they paid you in monopoly money. That part matters more than the back-end excuse. Poker ticket is a thing, casino bonus is usually some cramped little promo box with half the games blocked and the clock already running. Had one like that last month, “won” $15, 72 hour expiry, only certain slots counted, ended up cashing out a massive 43 cents, WOW. People ask if it’s a mistake, i think nah, it’s marketing wanting to count a “prize” without giving the cleaner one

Yeah, I’ve had promos do that bait-and-switch. If the prize quietly turns into a casino bonus with a 35x rollover, that’s not a perk, it’s just admin clutter to me.

Yeah, had that once, I missed the buried terms. If it hit casino wallet not poker tab, that's usually them.
