roulette outside bets counted 0% for wagering but casino still let me place them

so i got a bonus and figured i’d just play it safe, stack some even money bets on red/black. turns out the site’s fine letting me place all the outside bets but then my balance just chills there and doesn’t drop at all for the wagering part. the table accepted it, the system didn’t count it. doesn’t say anything until you try to cash out and then it’s too late.

kinda feels like a setup just to let you spin your wheels for no reason. anyone else run into this? never seen a site actually block the bet either, it just pretends it’s normal.
