roulette promo said all bets count but zero coverage didnt move progress

Promo terms said every roulette wager counts towards the bonus, so I did some hedge bets covering zero and neighbors for a chunk of spins, but noticed my progress bar wasn’t budging on those rounds. Emailed support and got a canned response about “certain bet types” not qualifying, but nothing in the T&Cs spelled that out at all.

I get it, covering zero is probably seen as low-risk, but if they say all bets count, shouldn’t they really count everything? Always feel like these promos have invisible hoops. Curious if anyone else got the same issue, or found workarounds for it, since I really don’t want to just sling chips randomly across the table hoping some hidden algorithm likes it. Feels like a bit of a bait and switch to me.
