green zero ruins everything

I swear every time I build up a little streak on red or black, that single green pops up and wipes me out. Even when I try to play it safer, it feels like the zero is just waiting to screw things up right when I’m getting into a rhythm. I know it’s not supposed to be personal, but after the third or fourth time, it starts to feel like a setup.

Anyone here actually cover the zero just to hedge, or is that just burning more chips long-term? I’ve always heard it’s pointless unless you’re running some weird system, but those losses add up. Might be overthinking it, but I’m just tired of green eating into any kind of profit I scrape together on the wheels.
