roulette bonus max bet rule says per spin but racetrack bet adds up weird

Reading through the T&Cs for a roulette bonus and getting a headache. They say max bet is, for example, 10 bucks per spin, but don't mention specifically how racetrack bets factor in. If I stack a few neighboring numbers on the racetrack, it adds up fast because of the split/corner chips. Feels like the system counts each chip separately, not just the total spin amount. Sometimes, the interface even refuses a bet combo under 10, but other times it lets you toss down splits and straight numbers that add up to over 10 on one spin, and then locks you out.

At the table with a live dealer, there's zero clarity if I go up to the table max using the racetrack. Does anyone have a clear read on this, especially after bonus payouts? I want to play a favorite combo but not risk the casino saying I went over. Can't be the only one confused here.
