live roulette max bet rule says per number but support says total table stake counts.

The table rules at my usual place say the max bet is per number, which I always took to mean you could spread higher totals across different numbers if you want. Had a session yesterday and put the max on like six numbers each, then got told by support I’d hit some “table maximum” and my next spin wouldn’t count. Support says it’s the sum of all chips on the table, not per number, even though that’s not spelled out anywhere I can see.

Now I’m wondering if anyone else had the same experience. Shouldn’t this be way more clear before playing live? How do you guys handle this, just stick to the per number or always ask support first?

nah per number usually isnt whole table and support is covering bad wording

I think the shaky assumption is that the text on the felt is the whole rule, it usually isn't. On platinum roulette i had this once, support sent the back office limit sheet and the system was capping total exposure while the racetrack/per number label was just display text, same kind of slop you see in bonus terms, not really a live dealer call

Actually yeah, table max usually exists too.

Yeah, it should be clearer, but online casinos are allergic to writing one clean sentence lol. My blunt take: if I have to ask support what “max” means, I already don’t trust the table. Support will tell you one thing, the live casino software does another, then you’re sitting there staring at bet confirmation like an idiot. Had this exact flavor of nonsense on sapphire roulette and I just stopped treating the printed number like gospel. I don’t “always ask support first” lmao, I do one small test spin near the limit and see what the system accepts. If the wording is mushy, the table’s trash.
