red went missing again

so, back at the local spot last night and i'm watching the wheel. everybody’s fired up after a run of black, so you know the usual whispers start when red disappears. it goes black eight times straight, crowd gets weird. i always log streaks but i’m not sure how much weight i should even give that stuff for next spins. some regulars start doubling up on red thinking it’s gotta show but, we all know it doesn’t really work like that. i just stood by and watched, glad i didn’t jump in.

curious how much other folks actually change their betting strategy when one color goes missing for a while. i’ve tried everything from martingale to just straight random bets but i always go back to flat stakes. i don’t think the wheel cares what came before, but i get why people get antsy. anyone else ever actually profit chasing the missing color?
