Finales vs streets?

been a poker player for years but i started diving into roulette lately, and i keep seeing folks arguing over playing the finales vs the streets. i get the math isn’t hugely different but there’s something weirdly satisfying about chasing all the numbers ending in 7, like the universe owes me for all the 7s i missed in dice games.

anybody here swear by finales over streets or vice versa? is it just superstition at this point or do you think there’s some edge if you stick to one over the other? would love to hear real stories if anyone's tracked their bets long term.
