Voisins vs tiers?

so i’m usually that dude who just drops chips all over the place but lately i keep seeing folks camping out on voisins and some who swear by tiers. honestly, i don’t even know if there’s a “smarter” side but i’m wondering if anyone’s got actual reasons behind picking one over the other or if it’s just like rooting for a favorite snack out of the vending machine. like, does it really help to focus on one section? or am i just inventing patterns to keep things spicy?

most of the live dealer tables i hang on have regulars who stick to their little slice of the wheel and they get hyped about “streaks” on voisins or whatever, but for me it’s always felt pretty random. are you supposed to ride out a section until it hits or do you move around with the chaos? i’m just trying to keep things fun without torching my wallet more than usual.
