Corner bet value?

i keep seeing some folks talking up corner bets like they’re the secret sauce on roulette, saying the odds make it worth it. i get that you can cover more numbers for a little less cash, but i’m trying to figure if the payout is really that much better in the long run. i always get antsy about spreading bets too thin, even though i like watching the wheel spin and hoping for a weird number.

for people who play corners more than straights or splits, do you feel the swings are actually gentler, or does it just feel like you’re in the game longer without hitting much? thinking about switching up my usual bet style since my last few sessions have just been all over the map.

nah the part that bugs me is people talking like corners have some special value. they dont. on a single zero wheel its the same house edge as a straight or split, ur just packaging 4 numbers together. i tracked this for a few sessions bc im that guy and it felt gentler only bc u get little hits more often. not BETTER

Corners just make you bleed slower, that’s the whole magic trick. I used them for months and it felt busy, not better!!!
