Tried French roulette for the first time.

Got a little restless with the usual American roulette spin so I gave French roulette a whirl this weekend. Wanted to see if that "La Partage" rule really makes a difference over a session. Honestly, being able to get half your even money bet back on a zero felt weird at first, like the house was cutting me a break for once. Not used to leaving with more than just pocket lint after a streak of reds and blacks goes south.

Payouts obviously felt pretty similar but those small saves stack up if you grind at the table long enough. Atmosphere was also a surprise - folks seemed a bit more relaxed, not in such a rush. Maybe the smaller house edge chills people out? Still not sure if it’s enough to warrant switching over completely. Guess it's about what you want out of a session - little bit more longevity, or more action and bigger swings. Curious how others see the tradeoff, or if anybody made a full switch and noticed a real difference in results or just the vibe.
