Roulette without a crowd

So I end up enjoying roulette a lot more when there isn't a ring of people packed around the table watching every spin. If a table is empty or close to it, should I just wait for that instead of jumping into the busy one? Is it harder to get that on live dealer or at certain times? I was trying to play earlier and the crowd around it put me right off, which usually tells me I'm forcing it!

Waiting it out's fine but empty tables stay empty for a reason, dealer just stands there watching you the whole time lol

Live tables aren't crowded, everyone's on their own screen.

the quiet table usually comes with a higher minimum, so you're paying for it either way.

Wait for an empty one, busy tables kill it for me. Live dealer is dead mornings, packed at night.
