does playing max bet actually increase your slot winnings

So everyone keeps saying you gotta max bet on slots if you want to actually hit the big wins or unlock the jackpot, but I’m not totally convinced it always works out better in the end. I get that some games only give you a shot at certain features if you’re betting max, but what about the rest of the time? Is there any actual difference in payout percentages or volatility if you go with minimum vs. maximum bet, or does it just drain your bankroll faster?

Mostly I hang out at the live tables but I’ll dabble in slots sometimes when sports are slow. Honestly feels like I lose my buy-in faster when I go max, even though the temptation for a real jackpot is strong. Has anyone tracked their results over a bunch of sessions or actually seen a boost sticking with max bet?

Nah. On most online casinos, max bet just burns faster unless it gates a pot

Lolll max bet mostly just torches your bankroll faster unless that specific slot hard-locks the top feature/jackpot to it, that’s the blunt truth. I messed with Jammin’ Jars on mobile for a week, same tiny small win nonsense either way, then went back to Blackjack where at least Late Surrender feels like I’m doing somethin’ real.
