why some slot developers make games nobody wants to play?

been noticing this a lot when scrolling for new slots. there’s these games with weird themes, stale graphics, or bonus rounds that make no sense - like who is actually asking for an irish fruit machine with five kinds of wilds but no real flow? not even the RTP is tempting on some of these, so what’s the angle for the devs? i get the need for variety but sometimes it feels like they’re just tossing random features and hoping something sticks.

does anyone here actually play these oddball slots? or is there some secret market i’m missing where these games are crushing?

Sure, some ugly slots still pull old regulars, but mostly I think devs are just filling lobbies with noise. If I want dead simple, I’ll play Blackjack, not Crystal Forest.

Nah, it’s usually lazy reskins for whatever back-office deal got signed, lmao. Same busted math, same free spins, new paint job nobody asked for, you ever see those same devs bother putting real money into Live Dealer, or do they only pump out slot sludge because it’s cheaper?
