I'd move on. A £6 max makes a decent price pretty useless when you can’t get a proper bet on, and keeping the account open for scraps across the week isn’t worth the hassle. Support giving you the trading-team line doesn’t leave much to work with.
I've done the same with a 400 buy-in, picked it to feel safe rather than because it was a plan.

For me, VIP is only important when it changes the numbers. I’ve had reload offers that looked decent, but clearing them meant betting bigger than I wanted, so I left them alone. Better rakeback or cashback I can claim without changing my normal stakes is different. A badge or a small birthday bonus doesn’t do much for me. I look at what a level gives back over a month, not how it looks on the screen. At around 8k to 12k wagered, an extra $20 or $30 between levels is pretty small. If the difference is 100 or more, then it’s worth looking at, as long as I’m not wagering extra just to get there. Can someone tell me what kind of monthly return makes a VIP level worth aiming for? People talk about the next level like it’s HUGE, but after the wagering, some of the extra value looks thin. Is there a VIP system you rate on the numbers, not the perks? thanks
I’ve been folding a lot early in MTTs unless I have a clear edge, often through the first 3 levels at 100bb deep. What is your cutoff for opening hands when stacks are full? I don’t want to get stacked with a marginal hand. Anyone else stay tight until antes kick in, or take small edges right away if the table looks weak? thanks Edit: asking about regular speed events, not turbos.
