slot bonus buy counted 0% for wagering but the casino still let me click it

So I bought a bonus feature on a slot with a deposit bonus active, just messing around testing my luck on a Friday. Spin went through, no issues, but later I checked the terms and apparently all bonus buys count for 0% towards wagering. Thing is, the site still lets you buy them even with the bonus on, and it didn’t even throw a warning or anything. Maybe they just want your money that bad, I guess?

I get they don’t want us abusing big bonus features to clear the wagering, but letting people blow half their balance with zero progress seems pretty scummy. Do any of you actually avoid buying bonuses during the wagering period or do you just risk it for the entertainment? Would be interesting to hear if anyone’s found a site that at least blocks you or warns you, instead of just letting you nuke your balance for nothing. Does your experience match or am I just unlucky with where I play?
