netent slot rtp changed after i refreshed or maybe lobby showed wrong version

saw something weird on a netent slot just now, the rtp listed in the lobby was way higher than what i got when i checked the game info after i loaded it up. like lobby said 96.06 but once i refreshed and actually got inside the slot, it showed 94.05 in the paytable. i know casinos can run different rtp settings but shouldn’t the lobby and the game itself always match? feels kinda sketchy if they don’t.

also, didn’t see anything about promo features or jackpot triggers that would mess with the rtp. just straight base game, no extra bonus rounds active or anything like that. maybe it was showing the max theoretical and not what the actual setting is for my region? or maybe they updated the game and the lobby didn’t catch up. anyone else seen this happen? how do you even know which number to trust, the lobby or in-game info?

Honestly i trust the in-game paytable and treat the lobby like the cereal box photo 😏 i’ve been suckered before by a shiny promo banner sitting over old rtp info, and yeah, that cured me fast. If the actual video slot says 94.05 once loaded, that’s the number i assume is real, wild symbols and all

Yeah i’d trust the in-game paytable, not the lobby card lol. Same dumb mismatch happens with roulette too, where the tile says one thing and the actual table rules are different, and that’s not “rtp changed,” it’s just stale lobby metadata lmao

96.06 to 94.05, yeah, classic online casino lobby slop

yeah nah i trust the in-game paytable, always. lobby blurbs are marketing junk half the time lol, same energy as live roulette promos splashed everywhere while the real rules sit buried, if those 2 numbers don’t match i’m already annoyed and i’m out!!!
