progressive meter slow

Anyone else notice some of these progressive meters are crawling lately? Used to be, you’d watch them tick up every couple spins, but now it feels like you could watch grass grow and still be waiting for another ten bucks to appear. I figured with more people playing online these days, they’d actually be climbing faster. Either I’m getting more impatient in my old age or they changed something behind the scenes.

I get that not every slot is going to be Mega-Millions pace, but it definitely feels slower than just a year or two ago. Maybe more casinos are spreading the contributions over more games or tweaking the payout ratio, I dunno. Would love to hear if anyone has found a site where the meters actually move a bit. Not expecting to hit the big one, but at least give me some excitement watching that number tick up. Just want to know it’s not just me seeing this lag.
