Bonus buys make sessions go way too fast

just noticed that whenever i go for bonus buys, my session time drops by like half compared to spinning normally. it’s weird cause it feels more “efficient,” but suddenly i’m through most of my balance without even realizing how fast it went. makes it way harder to use my usual “step back and reassess” habit that i rely on in poker, since it’s all over so quick.

i get the appeal, for sure, but when i slow-play slots, i have more room to manage risk and honestly enjoy it more. anyone else struggling with pacing or found a way to keep bonus buys from eating through their mental stop signs? i’m all for maximizing fun without nuking my bankroll in twenty minutes.
