Do you change slots after a few dead spins?

I swear sometimes I hit like eight dead spins in a row and my finger starts twitching for that change game button. But then I tell myself, “no, you are here for the free spins tease, not chasing ghosts.” I always wonder if switching games is smart or if it’s just feeding into that ‘the grass is greener’ trap.

I know some people have a strict rule - like, five dead spins and they’re out, new slot, new hope. But then I see some streamers go on for ages waiting for the bonus to drop, like they’re wrestling fate into submission. I try to make myself stick to a set number but honestly, if I see my balance draining too fast, I’ll swap faster than I check my pockets for my phone.

Tuesday is Joker’s Jewels behavior lol, that thing will hand me 12 straight blanks like it pays rent doing it. If I’m 30 spins in and the balance is down 25% with basically one sad 2x line hit, I’m gone lmao.

Yeah, the “five dead spins and I’m out” stuff bugs me because it treats all slots like the same machine with different paint. They’re not. From a game theory angle, switching after blanks is noise if the RNG is clean, but volatility and feature design still matter. I’ll dump a slot fast if the base game is stingy AND the bonus is doing all the heavy lifting. Old stuff like Fire Joker at least tells you what it is. Some modern junk just drip-feeds near-misses and fake momentum. That’s not “due,” that’s bad structure. I bail on structure, not superstition.

nah the part id push back on is this idea that a few blanks means the slot told u something, it didnt. i switch when the base game feels like dead air, not bc spin 6 or 9 didnt pop. stuff like power of thor can go quiet forever then dump all the movement into one bonus, meanwhile some 3d slots and cascading reels games keep jingling little nothing wins so u feel busy while ur balance leaks worse. if crystal forest isnt giving me line hits or at least a decent feature tease pretty early i leave bc the pace is annoying, not bc i cracked a pattern
