bet cancelled after odds moved hard but only after it won

Placed a live bet last night, right after the line moved a bunch. Got the confirmation and all seemed good, and then after the game finished and I'd actually won, the bet was just voided. The reason they gave was "palpable error" or whatever, but only after the fact. I feel like if it had lost, they wouldn't have canceled it.

Anyone else had this happen? I get that lines move quick, but why bother confirming a bet if they're just going to void it when it's convenient for them? Almost feels like you're rolling dice and the house gets to flip the table if they don't like the outcome. I always try to stay chill and play measured but this feels shady.
