book cancelled my winning bet because kickoff time was listed wrong

My Sunday football parlay had a leg voided by the book because they said the kickoff time was listed wrong. The bet was still open in my slip well before game start, and I triple checked the actual listed start time against what was on their page. Whole thing feels sketchy because the odds on my parlay moved after I locked in, but they still cancelled just the winning leg.

Has anyone else had this kind of thing happen? I get that if a bet goes live after a game starts, they have to void it, but mine was in with plenty of time. Is this just something we have to accept with online books? I’ve seen people talk about sportsbook errors before but never experienced it myself until now.

That sounds frustrating. I’d check the sportsbook rules first and compare how Gamdom handles incorrect event info before assuming it’s standard everywhere.

What annoys me here is everyone acting like the bad kickoff listing is the whole story. It usually isn’t. If your ticket was accepted before the actual start, they’ve got that timestamp down to the second. I had this on a college total a year back, and the support drone kept hiding behind “event info error” when the real issue was their grader flagged the market after the number moved. That’s not some mystery, that’s a house-rule decision. I’d sooner sit through six-deck blackjack than argue with a book over that. Get the acceptance time, ticket ID, and make them explain the exact rule they used.
