same team parlay?

Trying to figure out if same game parlays are ever really worth it. I see people loading up props on a single team - like QB over yards, receiver over catches, maybe even the team to win - all tied into one bet. It looks good on paper with the payouts, but I feel like it always hinges on that one crazy play not happening. Most of the time, one leg goes sideways and that's it. Maybe better to stick to singles unless there’s some real obvious value.

Curious if folks here are seeing long term gains doing these or if it just ends up eating your bankroll slower. Noticed a few buddies burning out quick on these.
