sportsbook says my corner handicap won but payout stayed pending after final whistle.

so i had a corner handicap bet on the late match, it clearly finished with the margin i needed. sportsbook marked it as won right after the whistle, green tick and all, but the payout has just been hanging in "pending" for like two hours now. this isn't the first time either, but last time support just copy-pasted the "settlement may take time during busy events" line. doesn't make sense to me, it's not like the corner numbers are up for debate, they're official as soon as the match ends.

someone tried to tell me it's about verifying stats but come on, it's 2024. am i missing some policy detail or does this just happen for random bets sometimes? never seen it lag for poker or casino wins, only with sports props like this.
