sportsbook says my bet was accepted but ticket only appeared after odds dropped.

Had a weird one just now. I hit submit on an NBA under when the number looked good, and it said “bet accepted” but my ticket didn’t show up until maybe 40 seconds later. By the time it popped into my betslip, the total had already moved and the odds were worse. The ticket got booked with the lower odds, not the ones I confirmed.

Been playing long enough to know how shady some platforms get when the lines move fast, but usually the ticket is rejected instead of this limbo thing. Kinda feels like a backdoor way for them to protect themselves when the edge is on our side. Curious if others had this before or if it’s something with browser lag or just the book stalling to check the market.
