pinnacle accepted my live bet at worse odds after screen froze on the better number

Had this weird thing today during some live soccer betting. Odds were pretty decent for the under, like right before half, and my screen froze just as I hit confirm. When it finally unfroze, I saw the bet was placed but at way worse odds, not what I’d clicked. Didn’t get a pop-up or anything to let me know the line changed. Basically just got the short end.

Not the first time tech’s tripped me up, but it’s frustrating when you feel like the house has all the tape measures and you’re just using your hand to eyeball things. I know glitches happen, but I always wonder if it’s intentional when the swing goes against me every single time.

Anyone else have bets accepted at odds you definitely didn’t pick, or know if there’s any shot at getting it fixed after the fact?

Cute till support hits you with “accepted price is final” lol. Live dealer or live soccer, same script every time, i had 3 tickets in april and all 3 got the copy-paste reply within 12 minutes, sooo yeah.

Seen it with bet365 roulette too, screen hangs, then your side bet lands 2 clicks worse. Support's about as lively as old tea.

I've had live odds change while submitting a bet before, but I usually get a notification asking me to accept the new price.

I actually prefer that, it gives me the chance to review the updated odds before deciding whether to place the bet.

what gets me is people act like a frozen screen and a real decision window are the same thing, and they just aren't. in live dealer and live soccer both, latency eats your expected value first and then everybody calls it "normal variance" haha, which is a cute way to dress up a bad fill

Yeah and live dealer's the same, stream hiccups and somehow it's always the worse number, pisses me off
