I’m starting to prefer single bets over parlays

single bets are kinda taking over for me lately. i used to always chase parlays just because the payouts look juicy, but it seems like my timing never lines up on every leg, even when i get a couple of those perfect reads. nothing worse than being right all day except for some wild ending in a late match that tanks everything. single bets at least pay what they should when you actually nail it. kinda feels like managing risk better too, which i guess fits with all the stuff i’m studying for cfa. my stats show i actually end up ahead way more often doing singles, even if it looks less exciting in the bet slip.

i get why people love chasing a big one, but lately i’m honestly more hyped just seeing that green mark on a single and moving on. anyone else switching their habits like this? do you actually win more or does it just feel less tilting?
