Paid tipsters

Is it worth paying for a tipster at all?

I’m close to trying one now
but I’ve never seen one with anything that looks repeatable long term

Is there any paid capper that has really been worth it (with receipts)

Not looking for a one week heater
just someone who’s been solid over a season or two

If they were that good they'd just bet it.

Honestly, a season or two is the minimum before a record tells you anything, and most paid cappers can't show one that holds up. Before paying, I'd check four things:

1. The record is tracked by a third party, with every pick timestamped and the odds taken at posting, not a screenshot thread.

2. Sample size. 50 picks is noise. You want several hundred before ROI means much.

3. Do the numbers after the fee. Say it's $50 a month and you bet $20 on 40 picks: that's $800 turnover, so you need over 6% ROI just to cover the subscription, before any profit.

4. Can you actually get their price? If the line moves the moment picks go out, your ROI is lower than theirs.

The best single test is whether their picks consistently beat the closing line, because results over a short run are mostly variance.

No, I wouldn’t pay for a tipster.

Posted slips don’t prove much. The losing picks can stay out of sight, and a hot month says little. I haven’t seen a season-long record I’d trust, let alone a couple of full seasons of tracked picks.
