why some blackjack dealers handle pressure way better than others

so i was watching two different tables last night, both packed and both had players throwing attitude after some rough hands. one dealer was just cruising, smiling, keeping it friendly, while the other looked like she wanted to be anywhere else. i know a ton of it has to be experience but is there more to it? some folks seem totally immune to the stress and others just crumble when a table turns on them. i see it a lot with promo nights too, pressure just hits differently depending on the dealer. i wonder what the real trick is to keeping cool when the table’s hot with tension.

Promo nights? Yeah, that's when the whole table gets extra whiny for a $10 bonus. Exhausting.

honestly it’s not some magic trait, a lot of it is burnout and whether the room backs them when players get mouthy. you can spot it fast on live tables with bad camera angles too, dealer’s already cooked before the shoe’s half done and it shows all over their face

It’s not magic, it’s reliability. The dealers who don’t get rattled are the ones who keep the same cadence no matter what, same as a decent live dealer on crypto casinos when the chat starts whining about Even Money every other hand. The rest start chasing the table mood and it shows FAST.
