played $1 hands for wagering then raised to $15 and casino called it pattern abuse

i get that casinos have to watch out for abuse but this pattern thing seems off. i was doing what i always do for rollover, grinding tiny bets until i was close to the target, then going bigger to finish up faster. i can see how if someone just flat bets and then randomly spikes their wager, it might raise a flag, but we’re not robots - sometimes i just get bored or want to see if i can swing something for once.

they called it “pattern abuse” and cancelled my bigger wins after i raised the bet size. feels weird since it’s my money and strategy, not some glitch exploit. anyone else ever have this happen or is this just the new way they dodge paying out?
