hit or stand on 16?

On 16 I always feel stuck. It’s a coin flip for me, especially when it’s against a dealer showing a 10. I get why basic strategy says hit but I see tons of people standing because busting hurts more than losing to a high dealer hand. Most of my sessions are at crypto sites with live dealers, so it feels different than a crowded table in a real room. The way you play your 16 seems to depend on whether you’re grinding comps, playing for fun, or just trying not to tilt.

People argue about this all the time and I can’t tell if it actually matters long-term or if it just affects how much pain you feel in the moment. If you’re using bonus funds or playing low limits maybe that changes the decision too. Sometimes it feels like the right call is more about your mood than your odds.

Hit it. Standing on 16 vs a 10 is just choosing to lose slower. Basic strategy isn't a mood ring.

Late surrender's the part people skip, then act shocked the whole table plays like slots once the betting window shuts.

It's a coin flip to me too. I just go with my gut in the moment.

"gut" on crypto blackjack is just bad table rules with extra lag

Not just lag, dealer shift gets weird and roulette runs cleaner, sooo irritating

Hit it. Hard 16 vs a 10 is already a rotten hand, and standing just loses more long term. I quit arguing after tracking 500 shoes and seeing it.

Crypto sites with a live dealer betting interface? I misclicked hit there once. Figures.
