draftkings blackjack hand history says i stood but i clicked double.

So I just had something weird happen playing blackjack. I went to double on a soft 18 against a dealer 6. I know for sure I hit double, but after the hand, the history just says I stood and didn't mention the double at all. It just showed my original bet and nothing about a double bet. Of course, I lost when the dealer made a straight flush so now I’m stuck wondering if my memory is shot or if the game glitched.

Not the first time I’ve seen some odd tracking on bet histories either, but this time it actually changed the outcome for me because doubling there was the whole point of the hand. Makes me nervous about the reliability in general. Has anyone else caught their blackjack logs doing something fishy? I keep an Excel of my hands for roulette and slots, so thinking I might have to start screenshotting every blackjack round too, which sounds miserable but might be necessary. Tech is great until your stats get messed with.

Gonna push back a little here: “fishy log” is usually not the part i’d blame first, lol. The annoying part is these UIs love acting like a click registered when the round state already moved on. I’ve seen that way more on crypto casinos and live tables than in the settled history itself. Tiny lag, focus hiccup, betting window closes, and your screen still feels like it took the input. Not saying you imagined it, just saying bad front-end is more common than some grand rewrite of the hand record.

I had this on elite blackjack once while eating cheez-its at 1am like a degenerate 😑 action button lit, nothing actually posted. History matched the balance change exactly. That’s the part i trust: wager amount, not the pretty animation. Screenshotting every hand sounds miserable because it is. I’d record a short session clip instead if you’re that worried. Way cleaner.

Yeah, I’ve had online casino blackjack do that cute little “you stood actually” routine when the table hiccuped, and once I blamed my own thumb till I saw the bet never doubled in history. Soft 18 v 6 is a dead simple double, so if the log skips it, I trust the log about as far as I trust a wet cardboard shoe.

I would definitely ask support to review the hand log. If you clicked double but the history recorded stand, the important thing is what action the server actually received.

Nah, screen recording every soft 18 like you’re auditing game film is nuts. If a book can show me exactly when an SGP price moved 12 cents on a Sunday and when I hit cashout, they can log a blackjack button press too, that’s not moon math. Casino side always gets this lazy pass. I’d push for the actual timestamp trail, not build my own surveillance setup. Bankroll is optionality, I’m not burning any of it babysitting their history page.

"server actually received" is doing a lot of work there. Poker logs manage this just fine.

I'd check the actual bet receipt or round details before assuming the history is wrong. If you have a screenshot showing the double, that's useful evidence for support. I'd report it with the hand ID and compare how Gamdom and other platforms record doubles too.

Gamdom is a funny benchmark here. Poker sites manage clean hand histories. Blackjack somehow turns into fog the second a double matters.

Hand ID is the only part I’d bother with, and support either has server-side action logs or they don’t. Funny how poker rooms can spit out clean hand histories for months, months, but blackjack gets vague fast. Did DK give you a timestamped action trail or just the pretty round summary?
