Do you guys actually follow basic strategy every hand?

Honestly curious how strict everyone is with the basic blackjack charts. I do pretty well sticking to strategy most of the time, but when I’m a few hands deep and the table gets wild, I’ll go with my gut on weird double or split situations, especially if I’ve got a little profit buffer. Feels like that’s where my sports betting mindset kicks in - I like to trust the math, but can’t help tweaking my plays if the vibes are right or the shoe seems streaky

I know the edge is tiny unless you’re 100% disciplined. Still, I see a lot of folks taking detours. Anyone else find themselves drifting from the charts even when you know the right move?
