dealer showing a 6 and somehow i still know im losing lol

Dealer upcard is a 6, so you’re supposed to be golden, right? But it feels like I somehow walk right into a loss every time. Doesn’t matter if I’m playing pretty strict to basic strategy. Maybe it’s just the negative sessions stick in my mind more, or maybe it’s how the other players at the table hit or stand, throwing things off. Sometimes I wonder if I’m missing something subtle, like betting patterns or some weird flow in the cards.

Anybody else get this feeling? Statistically the 6 is the dealer’s bust card, but do you trust it, or do you still get that gut feeling the dealer is pulling a miracle every time? Any tips on dealing with that mental block?

yeah, same feeling. dealer 6 just means "best bad spot," not a coupon for rent money. i treat it like sports betting variance and move on

Yeah, dealer 6 is the card that makes people start inventing table voodoo, and that’s the bit i’d bin first. From my own play, the worst sessions on a 6 almost always came when i got cute with doubles or chased a side bet because i felt “safe” and it just went sideways
