That feeling when the dealer flips an ace

What is the right way to handle that gut drop when the dealer flips an ace? i'm on live dealer blackjack right now and every time it happens i get annoyed as fuck and start messing with my play after that, even when i know long term it shouldnt change anything. is there any way to stop reacting to it, and what do you tell yourself in that spot!

the ace is just a card, its not doing anything different than a 7 would. what gets me is staring at it then doubling on something i wouldnt normally touch, or standing on 16 when i know i should hit. thats the part i try to catch. i figure out my play before i start reacting to the dealer card and stick with that. no special words for it, just notice when im changing course and stop. easier said than done when shes flipping it slow as shit on live dealer

The hand isnt decided when the ace flips so I dont act like it is, reacting like its already over just makes me play the rest worse on live dealer

The flip isnt what wrecks me, its the next hand where i start hitting 15s like a damn idiot

So what is it about the next hand that gets u hitting 15s? Same shoe or just tilted?

its tilt not the shoe thing for me, i catch myself trying to win back that ace instead of just playing the damn chart

Wait, the rest of that hand or the rest of the shoe?

that’s your cue to slow down, not change strategy out of frustration. if you’re adjusting plays because you’re tilted, take a break. Vega and other casinos aside, no basic strategy can stop the dealer from getting an ace.
