deposit match got cancelled because i withdrew old balance before playing

Anyone else get hit with this? I claimed a deposit match, but before I started playing, I took out some of my old balance just to keep things tidy. Next thing I know, the promo's just gone, not even a warning. Contacted support, and they're saying once you withdraw anything, bonus is void unless you've met the playthrough. Seems pretty harsh, especially since that old cash wasn’t even tied to the bonus.

Not the first time I’ve seen promos get canceled for weird reasons, but this felt like a technicality. I can’t be the only one that likes to clear out older money so I know exactly what I’m working with. Just want the deposit match I was offered, not a big saga.
