deposit match said “next deposit only” but cashier applied it to old balance

Promo said it was for the next deposit only, so I made a fresh deposit just to use this bonus. Checked the cashier, and the match bonus didn’t apply to my new funds - got tacked onto my old balance instead. Makes zero sense because the balance sitting there is mostly locked from previous poker grind sessions, so I can’t even touch those matched funds unless I blow through the rest.

Am I missing something obvious, or is this a weird bug on their end? The chat support person just said it’s “automatic” and didn’t really get what I meant about segregating funds for promos. Kind of defeats the whole point if your next deposit bonus ends up buried under money you already can’t withdraw. Anyone else get around this? Or is it just a random platform quirk that screws people over if they keep a rolling balance?
