Back to Crypto Casinos

casino credited my usdt deposit to bonus balance instead of real balance.

i made a usdt deposit last night and it showed up in my bonus balance instead of my real balance. i double checked before depositing, there weren’t any promo codes or bonus boxes ticked, just a regular crypto deposit. reached out to support and they’re saying it was part of some “automatic promotion” but i never saw anything about that before depositing. pretty frustrating since now the funds are locked with rollover requirements and can’t be used for my usual wagers or even withdrawn.

this is a first for me and honestly it makes me rethink depositing again, especially with crypto where you don’t really have many ways to dispute a mistake. anyone else have similar issues with casinos moving deposits to bonus balances without clear consent? wondering if this is a common practice or just a dodgy move on their end. trying to figure out the best way to deal with it, especially since i mostly use these platforms for sports betting and like to keep bonus funds and real funds separate.

I'd ask support to point you to the exact promotion they say was applied. If you never accepted a bonus, they should be able to explain why your deposit ended up with wagering requirements.

That is a fair approach. If wagering requirements were applied unexpectedly, support should be able to explain exactly which promotion triggered them and why.

What gets me is the sports betting part, because people keep talking casino terms and that is not the same mess. If I deposit for Saturday lines, I want stake in real balance, period, because bonus balance usually gets fenced off from straight bets, cash-out, sometimes even certain leagues. I had one book do this years back and suddenly my balance looked fine but none of my usual wagers would place. That’s the trick of it. Not “free money,” just your own deposit turned unusable. For me that’s a dodgy move, not a harmless promo.

Maybe it was “automatic,” sure. Still a dodgy move. I’ve had one crypto casino shove a clean LTC deposit into bonus funds and suddenly I’m married to 35x rollover like it’s a bad prenup. Real money should hit real balance unless you opted in, full stop. In Online Casinos, “automatic promotion” usually means they hoped you wouldn’t squint at the fine print.
