draftkings parlay promo counted 3 legs but ignored the voided one.

Placed a 4-leg parlay with a promo, but one leg got voided because the player was out. Only three legs were left, and the promo got applied as a three-leg parlay. Wasn’t expecting that since I figured the original bet should count as four. Now I’m wondering if this is just how they all work or if I got shorted by accident.

I’m used to bonuses being pretty rigid, but this is a weird spot. I thought promos like these should stay tied to the original number of legs you had when you locked it in, not drop down if stuff gets voided. I mostly stick to slots, so these sports betting promo rules can be a maze for me. Anyone else run into this? My tea’s steeped about five minutes too long and I’m still not sure how I feel about it.

yeah thats pretty standard rn voided leg usually stops counting for the promo its settled legs not original slip MOST times

Buried in the bet confirmation half the time, same annoying thing as slots promos, they count what settles not what you clicked when you built it

Yeah I've had that crap, voided leg drops the parlay count. Did your boost terms say settled legs only, or they hide it in the promo page?!

Yeah, they grade promos on settled legs. Voided leg dies, boost drops with it.

yeah thats how they nickle and dime u tbh once the leg voids they act like the ticket was born that way. had the same kind of nonsense on a live dealer promo after a disconnect and support went full ok sure maam energy. lowkey why i dont trust these promo counters soooo much

What gets me is they usually treat the promo off the settled bet, not the slip you built, which is a grim little distinction people miss until it pays short. I’ve had the same thing happen and it feels like slots logic shoved into sportsbook rules: machine counts what’s left, not what you fed it.
