roobet asked for proof of wallet ownership even tho deposit came from same address.
so i'm cashing out from the casino, deposit and withdrawal both using the same wallet. they still hit me up for "proof of wallet ownership" like a screenshot of my wallet or some video nonsense. i get needing kyc for fiat but with crypto i figure if the address matches and the blockchain shows it's the same, that's about as clean as it gets, right?
feels like an extra hoop with no real reason, unless i’m missing some risk angle. anyone else have to do this lately or know why they're so tight about it? is this the new normal?
